Golden light crept across the savannah, casting long shadows behind acacia trees.

Jafari, a bright-eyed eight-year-old, stood atop a rocky outcropping, gazing out at the breathtaking vista.

"Kibo, wake up! The sun is rising!" Jafari called out to his best friend, waving his arms enthusiastically.
